Let me take you through the district where I grew up and experienced so much! The Berlin Wall was still standing when I was born but I grew up in the 90s and 2000s, when Prenzlauer Berg became what it is today – a chic, expensive district where the Dolce Vita took over!
For years, Lichtenberg was seen as a lifeless industrial district — but since the 2000s, a vibrant creative scene has quietly been taking root here, known only to a few insiders.
