"Thea was a great and knowledgable tourguide!
We explored the little known origins of Berlin, the 90s and it’s culture and saw the city through the eye of a real Berliner.
Would definitely recommend the walking tour!"

- Lichtenberg -
From darkness into the light
Lichtenberg is still regarded as a dull industrial and commercial area but very few people realise that a creative and artistic scene has developed here unlike in any other district of Berlin. This is where the history of the GDR, art and international markets come together – a far cry from the typical Berlin clichés.
Ever since the fall of the Berlin Wall, Berliners have been saying, “Wedding is on the rise” – yet even today, they still don’t believe it. But this former working-class district with its many old factories, now mainly used by artists, is transforming into an incredibly trendy spot! Let’s explore together the corners of this neighbourhood that are so vibrant, authentic and full of contrasts!
Prenzlauer Berg was once a working-class neighbourhood and a haven for the GDR bohemian scene, where the Wilhelminian-style buildings gradually fell into disrepair – until the fall of the Berlin Wall sparked a complete transformation and the district is now one of the most expensive in the city. Find out what this means for residents and the neighbourhood on our tours through this fascinating part of the city.
- Friedrichshain-
Rebellion, Clubs and Kiez-Culture

Friedrichshain embodies Berlin’s rebellious spirit: life thrives here amidst street art, legendary clubs and the neighbourhood’s alternative culture. Alongside the RAW site and Boxhagener Platz there are many other alternative venues where the original spirit can still be felt and seen on our tour.
A tour of Marzahn? In the ‘prefab ghetto’? Exactly, because this district has much more to offer than just GDR-era buildings and a bad reputation! Discover one of the oldest villages in Berlin and let yourself be surprised by Marzahn’s history and places you certainly wouldn’t have expected!
Mitte combines the club culture of the 90´s with Berlin’s oldest history: the city’s transformation is evident in its legendary dance floors and historic sites. On our tours you’ll discover hidden corners and the last remaining pockets of freedom beyond the reach of major developers.
- Pankow -
The leafy suburb that’s got it all

Pankow was once the number one destination for stressed-out Berliners. On this tour, we’ll find out why that changed and why the district was considered stuffy and sleepy for decades. Come along to the eastern counterpart of Charlottenburg and discover why Pankow is back in vogue today, just as it was back then!
